Staging

The staging section within the CAE warehouse is a static controlled area that is governed by procedures that reflect best practice from IT British Standards. Customers are invited to engage in the staging process to allow customer engineers to monitor or work alongside CAE personnel throughout.

Testing

All hardware and software builds are tested to a level that reflects complexity and identified project risks. This includes basic DOA test, overnight soak test and network connectivity tests to ensure that equipment received to site is fully capable of performing the operation for which it is required.

For complete solutions the above tests can be extended into running the built solution in a laboratory environment for a more extensive testing program.

Configuration

CAE have a team of highly skilled and experienced configuration engineers qualified to the standards required by all major manufacturers. Configuration procedures are based on a script that is meticulously followed for each request. It is possible to insert variations within the script to allow bespoke settings to be adjusted for particular site requirements.

A configuration includes hardware and software either working to manufacturer build standards or customer design. At this point it is also possible to complete asset tagging

The configuration centre is highly equipped and is able to deal with large volumes of requests at any time. The configuration centre has a known capacity for 150 units per day and is capable of more.
